In the Vending Machine event held at Tate Liverpool July-August 2018, 70 wooden bobbins, each painted a different colour and removed from the work Matriarchy 2018, are distributed by the machine and recipients are invited to contact the artist quoting the unique code for their bobbin with their own invented name for the colour and a note of the personal associations it has for them. New work will be developed out of the dialogue entered into between the participants and the artist.
